Philosophy's Man of Thought and Islam's Man of 'Aqeedah are compared. Before getting off topic, let me stress that we need men of character. not persons of philosophy, but 'aqeedah. Philosophers cannot deal with the ills and issues that this ummah faces, so we need someone who can. Having an opinion and believing in something are two very different things. When you believe something, it permeates your heart and mind deeply. If you just have an opinion, it merely becomes part of the information you have stored.
